忘了capability of ..to do还是capability of ...doing啊，谁解答一下？

--respiratory system's ability is not a good expression, but what can we do? it's the best of all, anyway

郁闷，我选了C。A中的system’s 感觉很不爽！而C中的the capability of the respiratory system 符合ETS的风格。但翻了石林的笔记。上说:ABILITY OF SB TO DO>CAPBILITY TO DO STH.而C项是IN DOING，看来还是选A好。

Capability vs. Ability

actually, it appears to me that there is no evident difference between capability and ability. I searched and located all the problems regarding the usage of capability, capacity, can and ability as well. It seems that GMAC has a preference order: can>(able)ability>capabable(capabilty)...so far, no discovery has been found that "capacity" is used as a correct answer...in addition, capability puts more emphasis on "natural abilty" than ability does...ability refers to all kinds of states of being able to do sth. regardless of "natural" or "acquired"...

Note: That's just a dare conjecture, no official provenance.
