Since February, the Federal Reserve has raised its short-term interest rate target five times, and because of the economy’s continued strength, analysts have been predicting for weeks that the target will be raised again in November.

答案是D,我选C....但看了大家的讨论似乎都是A和C,请NN帮忙!

正确答案需满足两个条件:1)主句用完成时to match "for week" 2)subjunctive is needed for the clause which is introduced by "that",  only D) meets these two requirements.

C选项中的would时态好像不对,我觉得A好点,不过里面还有有个问题让我很费解,D中的target后面怎么没有will呢,很奇怪呢,有没有nn可以解答下呢。

我想C中用would是因为predicted的关系...希望NN快点现身,解决问题

C is the correct answer.

first ,predict that will...and predict to do are two correct ways of usage.So will is necessary.

Second,because of is not as good as because cluase.

third ,having been doing is not a correct tense in this question ,which amybe means always predicts for a long time.

Due to is a pharse the same meaning as because.But because clause is the most clear way to express the reason.

So C is OK
