不明白D选项解释：

D选项不能明确的解释因果关系，句子的前半部分有个小的因果关系是：chips overspply导致price plunging,引起了句子的后半部分的大因果关系：因此生产商声称要通过每个月关闭工厂两天来减少产量。
D选项将因果关系倒置了~

感觉D没有倒置啊， from这个介词不是说明了price plunging是由于oversupply吗？排题还是because > due to/ because of being吧

看了几个对D的解释感觉说due不能置于句首，because>due to 的这种无绝对性的说法不是很能说服我

OG说backward description is confusing and awkward

还是觉得用因果关系倒置来解释好些。我选错的原因是因为也是想到due to plunging computer prices FROM an oversupply, 但是要直接锁定，D把主句宣布减低产量的直接原因归结到了plunging prices 而不是如A中的an over supply of computer chips

还看到一个不错解释

通常because+句子表达重心在一个事件

due to + 名词表达重心在一个概念

这里的原题是有表因果的意思是动态而不是静态所以应该是选because

选D的人像我估计在这题一味追求简洁表达了
