B中因为是分号，所以前后两个分句应保持一致性，所以第一句主语也应该是人，而不是study。

选项没有对与错，只有好与坏。首先排除B、D、然后是C、剩A、E，显然E比较好一点。至于summarizes，这里并没有特指是Degler发出的，只是一般的行为，所以用原型。
