独立作文一 TOPIC It is better for children to grow up in the countryside than in a big city. Do you agree or disagree? ESSAY: Nowadays, there’s a hit discussion concerning whether the children should grow up in countryside or in a big city. Since the increasing rate of urbanization, an expanding number of family are moving to big cities and apparently the environments of children’s growth are changing. Some specialists are worried that the children will grow up in a world fulfilled with pressure, others argues that if children grow up in cities, they will miss the beauty of nature and ignore the importance of environmental protection. Contrary to the standpoint of these people is my acceptance with the idea that children should grow up in big cities. To start with, big cities have completed infrastructures and complementary institutions. What’ s most important is the advanced education system. As we know, education to children is like foundations to plaza. All the children should receive education, it’s the education that gives the children a promising future. In the big cities, the teachers are comparable better, and there are ample opportunities to obtain newest knowledge. Medical system, besides, is another consideration for letting children grow up in big cities. The children, always, are easier to get sick and have some potential illness, only in the famed hospital will the children be taken care appropriately. And also, the professions can give advice to the parents on how to create a healthy environment for children which is extraordinary crucial.
In addition, children can get closer to the human being society. Big cities are more like the reflection of the really world. As the latest released report from the UN exhibits ( a recent study by official indicates), more than ninety percents of human’s achievements are obtained from big cities, including the economic growth, the advance of science and technology as well as the progress of arts. In other words, the children are available to all these developments and always stay at the frontier of the whole society. Definitely (without question), it will play a significant role on children’s growth. Take an example of a worldwide well-known celebrity, the king of the software industry, Bill Gates, who is the founder of Microsoft, if Bill didn’t grow up in big cities and can’t get closer to the newest information technology, there wouldn’t the existence of Microsoft.
Whatever how many benefits that big cities take to children’s growth, never can we ignore the valuable aspects of growth up in countryside. In everyone’s mind, there’s always a picture about the beauty of countryside, composed of the rivers, the mountains, and the special countryside breeze. As the popular song sings, “Country road, take me home, to the mountain I belong to”. What a beautiful picture. Children there will enjoy the peculiar gifts from the nature, and will understand more about what is so-called “the harmonious development of human beings and environment”.
Considerably though the advantages that growing up in countryside enjoys are, they can not compete with the benefits for children that growing up in big cities brings about, especially when children’s education and future adaption to the fast developing world are taken into account.
