我也记得LZM说是习惯用法，没办法，没道理可讲的，记住就行了。

就我在平时的阅读中，遇到的都是than previously estimated, 印象中没有见过than waht previously estimated。

应该是习惯用法吧。

我不是说简单地加上一个WHAT，而是说THAN后面要跟名词性从句。
不过我总觉得这个习惯用法（如果是的话）总应该有个来历。
