此题答案没问题,但整个句子读下来感觉有个明显的错误,就是its的指代问题,按照作者的意图,这里应指United States,但这里句子主语是citizens,United States只是修饰citizens的,所以此句明显表达有问题,请牛牛解释.谢谢.

it应该是指代the world's population的。但具体指代population对不对，我也不清楚了。

我的《薄冰英语语法》关于it的用法居然只有两行，只说“指代人”，就没了！？气死我了！！

因為it一定不能指代the world's (文法上的錯誤) 所以就沒東西可以指代了

这个句子本身就有问题：首先，with+名词词组表示“随着”或者“具有.....的特征”的意思，在这儿，with 是“具有....的特征”的意思。那么，就要看，主句中的名词是什么，这些特征可是是主句中的名词就有的吗。而这个句子，主语是 united states citizens, 从逻辑上来看， citizens 怎么能够with only 5 percent of world's polulation? 所以，逻辑上这个句子有问题。
