   答案是B，看OG的解释中发现这个：In choices A, C, and E, in attributing ... behavior modifies the perpetrators, producing the illogical statement that the perpetrators rather than the defense attorneys are attributing behavior to food allergies.

   又是介词问题，我是逢介必疑，每疑必错啊：（

   当时和rabbit还有solome讨论的结果是：
   介词短语在句首表示时间，地点，方式的时候，做状语修饰句子
   介词短语在句首表示比较（unlike / like / besides / in addition to)修饰主语

   但是这里OG给的解释中说in attributing criminal or delinquent behavior也是修饰后面的主语

？？？？？？？？

   看来上次的总结是错了！！！大家再来帮我看一下吧，我已多次被介词折磨

   我想了一晚上，脑子基本糊了，大概的提出一个假设，大家来看：
   介词加表示时间（during 1950s)，地点(in beijing),  方式（in a word)的简单名词，作状语修饰整个句子。
   介词短语表示比较（like / unlike / besides / in addition to)，修饰主语
   介词后跟上包含动作的短语，这个动作的逻辑主语是句子主语，因此此时介词短语也修饰句子主语。

dreadpower,这题我是这么看的，因为有个but，所以前后是两个并列句。那么，in attributing只能修饰后面一个句子。这里就是介词+分词的结构，在我看来介词+分词，直接用分词，或者是unlike等介词放在句首，它的逻辑主语都是句子的主语。
（这段时间我极端堕落，再休整一小段时间，马上回来和大家并肩作战！）

这个介词短语不同于以前所提的介词短语，这个是介词引导的动名词短语in attributing ...，
所以后面句子的主语是逻辑上的动作发出者。

1,i agree with the 2 sisters, it is the defense attorneys who attribute criminal or delinquent behavior to food allergy. as explained, A, C and E suggest that perpetrators themselves attribute by using prep clauses

2, Question: I didn't choose B because "an allergy to some food" sounds awkard. Normally, people say "food allergy" (by the way, that's my profession, i know it's widely used that way). Could anybody give an explanation?
