还是要读懂句子，这个题目我第一次做也错的，你看A，both the power of the chips and the electronic devices 意思就是the power of the chips 和electronic devices 并列，the power of the chips 是可以have vastly increased，但是electronic devices 怎么能have vastly increased呢？？，所以A错

Do you mean if this sentence changes to "both the powers of the chipas and the electronic devices..." it wil be right?

no, still wrong.
1, the power of both A and B has increased. A//B . subject=the power
2, if it were changed to "both the power of A and B", then who refers to "they"? ambiguous. A is no good.
