[求助]Question about Insead

I just started thinking about an INSEAD mba

I'd appreciate if I can get some thoughts on the employment prospect

Is it easy for an INSEAD MBA (from the sigapore campus) to find a top three consult internship/ full-time employment in HK or Shanghai?

If so, are they going to receive the same global pay as american MBA graduates?

I know INSEAD is very elite...do you guys think it has a high reputation in HK and SH?

INSEAD is strong in the Consulting field. They also have many alumni in mainland, incl.HK or Shanghai,which is quite an advantage.

It makes sense to pursue an insead MBA and get back to be a consultant.

Global pay, yeah, if you can get into Top tier consulting firm, definitely.

Very tough to get in anyone of the top3, but it is EASY to land a job in 2nd tier MCs, given the fact they provide very competitive or even higher packages than top 3 for INSEAD graduates. S, last year only one mainland graduate got in Top3 back to SH office.

Also, I am currently in the US, and have lived here for many years now. I am considering moving back home to shanghai. So  I want to go to Bschool and come out to work for a consulting firm. My question is, what kind of  bschool is easier  for me to land a consulting job in shanghai? a M7 US bschool or Insead??

I don't know much about INSEAD, but from what I heard, if you go to a top US bschool, it is not very hard to get a job with, for example, Bain in Shanghai.

I am also interested to know what a second tier MC is? Can you give some names please?

I can not compare INSEAD with other top Bschool in terms of the job hunting. What i can say is HBS is still the best of best, go with it if you can get the ticket. For the rests, no much difference in my mind.

Since you have lived in US for many years, why not jump out and experience something different? 2 tier MC are MC besides McK, BCG & Bain but pay the same salary, haha. don;t wori, you will get to know them once you start your MBA.

also, it seems that 2 insead grad found a top consulting job in shanghai last year...and my question is, how many grads from insead seeked a consulting job in shanghai last year?

in other words, what is the success rate? how many out of the two??
