寻求安慰

上个星期电面，之后一直没理我，今天发了邮件to coordinator, 得到回复：

The committee met and we decided to take a look at about three people
over the next couple of weeks. You are in the next category of
applicants of whom we are very impressed and whom we may look at again
in a couple of weeks. Please stay in touch.

可悲，就录一两个人，还弄几个categories, 最主要的是，我还只是在三个人以外的next category"

,他们也只是"MAY look at again". 感觉希望顿时全无。。。

这个学校：１。　综合排名百名开外

　　　　　２。　商学院稍微好点，但地理位置使这点优势也不是很明显：　在一个人平收入低于全国平均标准的州，在一个十来万人的城市。。。

　　　　　３。　（就这样的) 学校还要搞rolling 　录取。。。。。。　　

本来是想即使录取了也不太想去，但现在才发现，录取都没可能。。。。。　　看样子，自身实力不行！sign

真不明白my bf 条件就一般，去年也去了一个不错的商学院。。。。我虽然也不咋的，但比他好一点点。没想到！！！

I think the three candidates who are in the first category have been invited to campus visit.

Don't worry too much. It's still at the very early stage of examination, and I believe many schools haven't contacted applicants yet. That means you can expect to get offers from other better schools.

I had a very similar situation two years ago. I got phone interview from a school which was at the end of my application list in early Feb. They told me that they might schedule a campus visit for me but they never did. Later on I was disappointed when I knew they had already admitted someone else. Fortunately, I got three much better offers by early March. I think different schools are looking for candidates with different characteristics or personalities. Being turned off by a school doen't mean you won't fit in a better program. I hope my experience would make you feel better.
