Hi All,

I am Jeff, an undergraduate student from BJ Foreign Studies University(Beiwai), majored in Economics and English, expected in 2008.

I used to dive here in the bbs but from now no I will be more active. I plan to pursue a MBA in the States ASAP. The major will most likely be General Management.

I am now faced with two job offers.

1. KPMG Finacial Advisory Service(FAS) : no idea what this branch ... not Audit ... 5500/month

2. Synovate : a market research firm. my department is B2B market reasearch, mainly conduct compeitior intelligence study, market entry stradegy, M&A research. 8000+/month. No Hukou. Not famous as KPMG.

Which you guys think more helpful for me to apply MBA in US?

I am now doing internship in Synovate. They are pleased with my performance so far and we discussed my package seriously. 8000 is the floor for me in Aut08.

This company doubled its revenue and number of staff last year. Further more, my department is B2B market. It's different from giving out questionaires in the street. The package for entry level is about 7000/month.

well, big four advisory hire much less ppl than audit department.

Last year in hk,one big four firm's FAS hires maybe around twenty, but audit hires like three to four hundred..

You should take the FAS job with KPMG if your long-term goal is investment banking after MBA education.

There is numberless ppl with big4 audit w/e but just a few with FAS. And the salary of big4 is quite attractive to a fresh-graduate for the over 30% yearly increase.

However, I knew little about Synovate. Just some advice.

KPMG FAS BJ this year will give out 15 offers. And they hope 9 ppl will accept.

Now I think I will take KPMG FAS...

A offer with 100,000/year was my dream. But when it comes, I denied it. So struggle...
