monkfish/fish 到底是复数还是单数？　是用 them or it 来指代？

我觉得A有两个问题：
1，比较的语序
2，their的指代，fish表种类是单数，如果一定用their就是指代cad and haddock了

A要是改为There are no legal limits on the size of monkfish that can be caught， as there are for cad and haddock, a circumstance that contributes to its depletion through overfishing. 就对了。

有没有there be..... as there be...句型大家求证一下。

which可以指代句子的，og有没有说我不记得了，哪位能求证一下？
