急求！！prep07 sc1-165 关于分词用法【搜了很多帖子没有发现答案，求教各位牛牛啊】

答案为 E

针对D选项，不考虑D选项的其他错误。解释中说，(D)现在分词making…修饰对象不清楚
但是 making在这里不可以表示结果吗？

白勇语法笔记上说 ing分词
（1）表伴随动作、状态、功能时，与句子谓语动词同时发生，逻辑主语为句子主语
（2）表伴随结果时，整个句子是原因，导致分词动作产生，无逻辑主语

所以根据（2），不可以是因为有不到100只Arabian leopards left in the wild,所以making them many
more times as rare as China's giant pandas吗？

麻烦明白的指教一下吧！！不胜感激

我觉得是前面已经不止一个句子了，后面表示的伴随结果是伴随的哪个都已经分不清了。前面的错误已经导致没有办法用这个解释了。个人的想法....

按照曼哈顿来说：伴随结果，必须是前面句子转换成名词性短语后能够做后面的-ing的主语，
就变成了 fewer A make them（指A）many more times as rare as China's giant pandas

嗯..我个人不是很认同prep的说法。是这样，我认为如果是【, thus doing】这样的结构，很大程度上就已经表明它是【结果状语】，而不是【伴随状语】。因为thus的因果效果很明显。

但是D，Researchers have determined that, because of being poached and increased cultivation in their native habitats, there are fewer than 100 Arabian leopards left in the wild, thus making them many more times as rare as

如果表因果的话，如同LZ自述表伴随结果时，整个句子是原因，导致分词动作产生，无逻辑主语

也就是说there are fewer than 100 Arabian leopards left in the wild 在【语法要求】上应该作为making的主语。但是从逻辑上看，这样是说不通的。

你可以说【因为猎杀和偷补导致现在比原来少多少多少】，但在这题里，你不能用一个【there be表示现在状态的句子】来作为原因说它会导致什么。。

不对， thus这里是副词，可以用来修饰整个句子，所以我觉的v-ing做为分词表示结果这个并没有错，我觉得你纠缠错了方向。而且你看到Becasue of being + verb的时候D基本上就没有必要再往下看了因为Being poached and increased cultivation这个结构and就在暗示poached 和increaed cultivation 你看语义，cultivation是不可能被increased。所以这里明显就是想把两个分词放在一起做平行。
