[求救]2封推荐信中copy了同一个example。犯下大错！

为了赶deadline, 不小心烦了个大错。艾！不知道该怎么办。

请大虾指教！提醒大家一定要double check自己的申请材料啊！

那一看就知道推荐信不是推荐人写的，LZ估计不要对这所学校抱太大希望了！

If the RL is submitted online, it might be possible to delete it. Try to contact adcom -- of course, don't tell them you used the same message in both RL, just tell them the recommender made a mistake and would like to replace his/her RL. If the adcom hasn't read ur application, there might be a chance to rectify this situation.

Thanks for your kind suggestion. But I happened to send them in paper mail.

I don't know whether one reader will read the two rec.letters or one reader one letter the other reader the other letter.

I am expecting that the reader will not be impressed by the specific example.

I just do not know to what extent the he or she will attend to the words in the two different letters.

I had a similar mistake when I applied UCLA, I had two recommender, and I submit the recommendation letter of recommender A under recommender B's name!

I ended up didn't submit my essay for UCLA... so sad.
