答案是A。

我想问问牛牛们为什么这道题 as many Americans were killed as 后面没有一个与Americans平行的名词或代词。我在读题干的时候按照语感觉得第2个as 后面应该有个those或是别的什么能与Americans形成平行结构的名词或代词，所以一上来就排出了A。但是别的选项更不对，只好选A，可是我对A还是不太理解。

另外，关于as……as……这个结构，考10次我要错8次，就是不知道第2个as后面应该保留什么、省去什么。请大家教教我吧！

as,than可以做比较从句的主语。

我也有这样的疑问，当看见as后直接有个would later....等类似谓语动词时，就觉得很奇怪！知道as,than可以做比较从句的主语时似乎明白了一些。

可是我好像没有GMAT700+MM 聪明啊，你说将如果把B中的fast改为其他可以和rate匹配的形容词，是不是就对了呢？

B中不是有IT 作比较从句的主语么？为什么要这样改啊？

我觉得怎么应该改为(B) twice as high as in

按照lzm的说法，twice一般用于数量上的翻倍，只能说twice as many as或者twice as much as,但不可以对形容词或副词翻倍

rate不可用fast或者slow形容
