so....that 和so.......as to均表示很......以致.......。so.......as to 后面的动词的逻辑主语和主句的一致。如此例及OG的88题。so....that.....，that后面接从句，主语可与主句的不一致，如She was so young that you must excuse her。
此句选A 而不选C的问题主要在SO。。。。THAT 和are unable to 连用不好。
个人理解。

ETS不喜欢so as to。但是so...as to是可以的，但正如dreadpower所说，so...as to不能倒装，因为ETS不喜欢。不知道ETS为什么不喜欢。

ETS不喜欢，可能是因为标准书面语（Standard Writing Language）里很少用吧。

真是牛人啊。

原来一直以为so as to 和so that的区别只是在主语上。结果搜遍大全987愣是没找到so as to正确的。

反而是so xxx as to xxx 很多正确。

OG11 语法的33题：

although schistosomiasis is not often fatal, it is so debilitating that it has become an economic drain on many developing country.

(c).so debilitating is it as to become an economic

OG的解释是：the construction so x as to y is not a correct idiom.

显然这个解释是不正确的。请大家一定注意。
