A,B,C可以排除

答案：E
我想问最后要用differing而不是differed呢？难道differ和determine不是同一位置的吗？differing的逻辑主语是哪个啊？

我理解的是：

differ 与 which从句平行。这么看：.......to the abolition of local times, differing from city to city.........（去掉了定语从句）

Time是由Sun....定的，逻辑关系为被动

而后面Vary....这半句中，differing 的逻辑主语是times，逻辑主语和differ之间主动的关系

分词对应分词的时候，ing + ed是可以对应的
