如何确认邮件是否丢失？

8月19号用“全球优先函件”寄出了申请。但是学校那边到现在还没收到。

因为这个服务不能在网上查询投递进度，怎样才能确认邮件是否丢失了？我不想贸然再花180大元寄个EMS......

怎么办好啊......

Does it matter where your mail is if the school doesn't have your information? I'd send them another copy as soon as possible.
