我想问一下D和E
D是正确答案
但是选D 不会存在指代不明么 many of them 中的them 为什么不可以指代 hazardous substances，一定是指代products呢？
2. E 为什么就是wordy and ackward了？
是因为but 是 conj 所以要求连接的成分需要平行么，我的意思是说若but前的句子是主动语态那么but 后的那个句子也必须是主动而不能是被动么？而且在E选项中两个句子的主语都是一致的不是更加清晰么？

1 many修饰可数名词~substances不可数
2 主动由于被动（这点我也不确定，但是总的说主动优于被动）
