11题，我的理解是d选项增加了实意名词：the case。应该不对。白勇的书上都有解释的，他怎么说的，还有是这题是哪章的第几题。

1 twice 是表达数量的，如twice as many/much as,  所以 twice as fast as 这儿已经错了。单纯it was in ，看不出问题。

2 twice还可以加名词或what从句，所以答案是 twice what it was in
