自己被这道题困扰了很就，在A B间犹豫不决.其实觉得两个都没什么语法错误。 因为主语是babies. 今天偶然找到了原文，看来语法是一方面，用语习惯也很重要啊。

补全了是  ... more babies were born to women over the age of thirty than (those were born to women) under it. 吗？

如果是，那么B选项中的born放在那里就没有什么意义了，因为既然省略就将重复的部分全省；即使要补出谓语动词，也应该是than were born under it，而不是仅仅放个born在那里。

不知道这么说对不对？
