Euphekira should receive encouragement for the courage to write her post in English. Most new posters here only write Chinese, so it is impossible to evaluate their English skills. Euphekira should not be penalized or ridiculed simply because she tried her best to use English. While not perfect, her English skills are better than those of some Chinese students in the U.S. Euphekira: Honestly, I think time management skills are extremely important for a JD candidate. I understand you are very busy. However, you will get busier if you get into a JD program: course work, extracurriculars, journals, interviews, internships, etc. It is better to get into the habit of managing a busy lifestyle if you really want to pursue the JD degree in the States. My suggestions: 1. Take the TOEFL class from New Oriental. 2. Buy LSAT books and do the questions. Spend at least 3-6 months on it. If you cannot score above 160 after that, then law school in the US is probably not right for you. 3. If you do score above 160, you should think about how to finance your degree. |
