7.7报分，希望给点意见

别的部分都挺满意的，但是觉得Writing太低了，想复议。

我的情况是，现在大一结束，如果大三结束的时候申请Graduate，成绩还正好有效。但是The Journalism School of Columbia University的要求是109，所以我在犹豫是不是要复议。。。。

希望大家给点意见。山版，德克。。。。

Columbia的要求很高，这个我是很清楚的（貌似它不太欢迎中国学生）

我觉得，写作的分数应该够了，低的是口语（没有办法，毕竟你是Journalism）

如果你一定要上109，我还是建议你复议口语（我个人觉得写作27和写作29区别不大）

但是，复议有风险（有可能降低你的分数）

这样，你连108都没有了。

当然，如果你一定要109的话，108也没有意义。

我要是有你这个成绩，就很很很满意了。

As far as I know from Columbia J School, they rarely rarely (if not never) accept graduates without working experience. When I graduated and applied, people from Columbia J School told me that.

You may refer to their websites and found that Columbia J School emphasizes working experience a lot, and the average age of those enrolled is around 30 or sth.

So I think it does not matter a lot whether to re-score your TOEFL. What's important is to make your background better, internship and working experience in world-class media, if journalism is really your dream. To be honest, I think Stanford may be more possible for your case, if you can have good internship.

也想问一下要不要申请口语复议呢~~貌似实在有点低啊...

我经常在CD上看到口语复议的，可是很少看到写作复议的。。。。不知道成功率大不大。。。。

德克说的不错，但是我对自己的写作更有信心，两项都复议的话嘛，又太贵了。。。。

所以还是想不清楚啊。。。。

复议一般要多少时间啊？

整个周期可能要一个月左右

我还是建议你复议口语。

复议真的很难说结果，目前看变动的人里，增加和减少都有。相对你的成绩来说，可能口语复议加分机会比作文大些。

刚才仔细看了一下Columbia U.网上的信息，发现虽然Bulletin里只要求109，但是网上说要114才会be seriously considered for admission。。。。

所以也不议了，以后再考吧。。。。
