As far as I know from Columbia J School, they rarely rarely (if not never) accept graduates without working experience. When I graduated and applied, people from Columbia J School told me that. You may refer to their websites and found that Columbia J School emphasizes working experience a lot, and the average age of those enrolled is around 30 or sth. So I think it does not matter a lot whether to re-score your TOEFL. What's important is to make your background better, internship and working experience in world-class media, if journalism is really your dream. To be honest, I think Stanford may be more possible for your case, if you can have good internship. |
