1、             compare with同类对象比较，compare to比喻

E. population, compared with 20 percent in 2000

A: compare to应该是with

两道题都用到了compare with和compare to作比较，而且都是compare with正确。

F大侠说的“compare with同类对象比较，compare to比喻”我是第一次听到，所以想跟各位确认一下。

那么也就是说，以后的题目中只要是作比较的，都用with ，而非to了？

其实偶不认同F大侠对compare with与compare to的区分。他自己也说过：GMAT不考介词用法（在25题immume to/immune from那个题的解释中，岂不是自相矛盾？）

31题中就用了compared to，也是倍数的比较，没什么同类不同类的区别。

MM举的这两题，都不是以with和to来选择正确答案的，都有其它问题。

恩，我也有这个疑惑，所以提出来想看看大家的意见。

population前还有一个of，of前是percentage，所以还是％和％比较。

F大侠说的“compare with同类对象比较，compare to比喻” 

这个好象是新东方石林上语法课上的说法
