金融或者会计的PHD

我本科学的是会计和计算机科学双学位，在中国银行工作4年，信贷，现在国内最好的商学院读国际MBA金融投资方向，准备申请会计或金融的博士，以前准备过GMAT但是没有去考试，所以，考GMAT 比较容易点，但是，很多人都说GRE的应用广泛些，请大侠指点！还有，美国的学校一定要新TOFEL吗，还是雅思也可以，（可能雅思能考到高分），谢谢！

1. Take GMAT.

2. If you have old-format TOEFL which has not expired, that's fine. If not, take TOEFL if you want to go to the US

那改考DBA呢，申请拿奖学金的机会大吗，斑竹,which schools have good DBA program? thank you very much!

Harvard DBA

DBA is alomost the same as PhD in the US and it is also for those who wish to pursue a career in academia. I met a director of a DBA program and he said he wanted to change the name to PhD because people were confused about the name.

In Europe, things are different. DBA is for the managing excecutives.

I was wondering if you know what a PhD degree is for. You should know what you are looking for and why you want to go abroad.

dear lz, thank you for your hotheart reply, and i learn something about the DBA,i have interest in researching of emperical cooperate finance, i have no demand to the schools, even behind top 50,hehe, so could you give me some advisement the more probability for me to apply it sucessfully, thank you again! 

Empirical cooperate finance? Did you mean to say empirical corporate finance? If so, go to U of Wisconsin and Toni Whited is obviously a good choice. Have you known GMM, panal data regression, SMM before?

恩，我已经修过商务实用统计还有统计模型预测和分析，分数都在90分以上，明年准备再修下时间序列，或者学点数学系的课程,你说的SMM和GMM，是不是这些课程呀

这些都是高级数理统计的内容，修下就可以了，正好明年有这门课程，呵呵
