With the rapid economic growth in our country, a great amount of people become more and more rich. Hence, a hot debate exists, only people who earn a lot of money are successful? Admittedly, money is a useful measure of evaluating whether someone is successful or not. However, hardly can I agree the statement that money is the only criterion. Currently, people pay much attention to material rewards, which is the necessity for living. People always admire those who live in large villas, drive luxurious sports cars, and can afford to eat the delicious foods all over the world. They regard the rich people as the successful ones. But the truth is, they just look at one aspect, which is the appearance. Probably, from deep heart, less happiness the rich gains compared to the average ones, say, pressures, responsibilities are all put on their shoulders. If people can not feel happy from heart, seldom can they be considered successful. Who can deny that Alert Einstein is successful? With significant inventions, such as, light bulb, he is absolutely one of the most successful men through history. Nevertheless, did he make much money? Did he succeed only by earning money? Definitely, it is not. It is a perfect demonstration to challenge the perspective that only people who earn a large deal of money are successful. Furthermore, whether successful or not depends on how people think of themselves. Different people are in search of distinct things they cherish a lot. For instance, thousands of people go to the poorest villages in the mountainous areas to be teachers, doctors, etc, when they see the eager eyesight for knowledge of the children, they know they have made a wise decision to devote themselves to the development of education and health care. Self-realization and dreams are their first concern. Undoubtedly, they are successful, and they feel satisfied as well. Also some housewives feel the sense of achievement due to their contribution to the family, by taking good care of their children and husbands, by keeping the houses neat and comfortable, they are succeed because they regard these as their responsibilities. Currently, traveling tourism becomes an important factor in speeding up the development of the third industry, and the truth is, more and more people tend to choose traveling to spend their leisure time only if time and money are available. Two ways for traveling exist, one is to join a group led by a guide, the other is to travel by oneself. Someone argues that following a tour guide is the best way, however, hardly can I agree with this viewpoint. Although being a group member brings convenience to some degree, such as, we need not care about the hotel, ticket, and the itinerary, the disadvantages of led by a guide outweighthe merits. First and foremost, being a traveling group member, the biggest defect is the limited time for us to appreciate the sightseeing fully. As we know, the purpose of setting up a travel agency is to make profits, hence the tour guide will make use of the time completely, and in most cases, they will lead us to certain shops to purchase commodities. Consequently, there is no time left for visitors to see the landscapes. An impressive experience exists in my memories, that is, when I took part in a group to travel to Yunnan province, it made me feel terrible. Everyday we spent our time on the bus, rushing from here to there, when we arrived at some sites, little time given to us for enjoying and appreciating the natural beauty, even worse, we seldom had time to take photos. In addition, the guide always led us to some shops to buy some articles, which charged for high prices. What a nightmare it was, and I made up my mind never travel in a group again. But on the contrary, if we travel by ourselves, there are many merits. On the one hand, we get full time to appreciate the excellent natural beautyand place of interests, we can take photos as many as we wish, and these will become valuable memories, representing we once have been there. On the other hand, when we travel on our own, it is more flexible, we can arrange our time according to our hearts. For instance, if I am addicted to somewhere, I could change my schedule and itinerary, finally I could stay there longer. What a terrific plan! As mentioned above, from my perspective, I prefer traveling by myself or with my friends to led by a tour guide, for traveling freely can add my pleasure during the trip, and my heart will feel satisfied as well.
