在看白大侠那本《GMAT语法全解》时遇到这个句子
Sartre believed each individual is responisible for choosing one course of action over another,

that it is the choice that gives value to the act, that nothing that is not acted upon has value.
请教各位NN此句话如何理解？

S认为个人能够对做某一个行为而不做另一个行为负责,正是这种选择赋予行为价值,没有行为的事情都没有价值
