As the properties of creativity, a better solution turned to, become better understood and generally accepted, few issues could be more controversial concerning its validity to solve a problem compared with planning fully. Notwithstanding, a fair proportion of people insist that an elaborated plan be a perfect choice. Diametrically embracing the former, the distinctive charm of creativity has never failed to appeal to me and my reasons are blow.

The first plain truth, presented here, refers to that a creative thinking which entails an open mind with unique notions, as divorced from conventions, is literally instrumental to social members, especially the rising generation after 80s . Caught up in the passion for being creative, they may have already realized its necessities as in some cases; creativity has been identified as a prerequisite for certain positions. For example, confronted with an immediate deadline, the scanty creativity may define a supervisor as arbitrary for his/her overtime working demands which will be responsible for employees’ dissatisfaction and even the unsatisfied work-out. A creative supervisor, however, liberated from dependence on traditional unfriendly management model, will treat the discontented employees a big dinner to pacify them and motivate them.

Furthermore, behind my preference lies an equally crucial fact that it is the creativity, given from a historical prospective, that has substantially furthered the cultivation of society. Seen from the past, what has been invariably associated with critical revolutions is the impetus of people's creativity. Steam engine in the Industrial Revolution is a good example. The new age of machinery, in short, could not have been born without the emergence of steam engine, a creative invention felt globally. Another example of point is the advent of internet. Despite some unwelcomed by-product of internet just like information overload, such an innovation has been proved to be an appropriate antidote to the problems of information availability in a national scale. While the impacts of creativity do work in some issues, employing an elaborated plan apparently is confined to disability.

Last, but not least, creativity is not just served as an adornment of individuals to distinguish them. Its role is to spur rather than to embellish; to inform, rather than to beautify; it is nothing less than a source of instant burst of passion or brilliant flash of imagination; it could save much misery and expense and free people from the poor selection of tedious life with every details already designed.

Admittedly, nor is the fully arrangement without its moments of benefits. Careful planning is of the essence, especially when one's decisions can both affect one's own life and the others’ lives. Nevertheless, if you can do without the dubious merits of fully planning, you will expeditiously find the advantages of creativity carry much more weight than those of careful planning --- abandoning the doctrine of "planning your life carefully", and making the alternative move into "being creative" brings with it far greater rewards than expected.
