请教一道白勇语法，有点晕晕◎

答案是D， 我也是这么选的。可是D 改变了句子的重心呢，原来做状语的变成了主语，原来的主语变成了宾语从句。

那这样看来，A也是勉强可以接受呢！

D 的逻辑意思比A清晰一点

A有分词做状语有歧义之嫌

选项B： "A star" 之前有两个分词： “After passing through a red giant stage， depending on its mass，” 究竟哪一个分词做状语修饰“a star"不清楚，所以B 排除。

选项C：”it compresses itself ..."中的"it"修饰前面的 “a star's mass”，所以意思变成了“一个星球的质量会把自己压缩成白矮星，中子星，和黑洞” 但此句显然意思应该是“一个星球”会怎么怎么样而不是”一个星球的质量“会怎么怎么样，所以it 指代有问题。

选项E,  问题和选项C相似。it 指代了"mass of a star",即一个星球的质量最后会怎么怎么样，出现了指代错误，所以E应该排除

最后，从ABCDE选项中也可以发现，选项D的表达意思最清楚，舒服。"A mass"(原因）决定了一个star最终是否会成为白矮星，中子星，或黑洞（结果）。“after passing through the red giant stage，”作为插入语不影响句子的意思和结构。解决了歧异的问题。

我认为，句子重心变化并非错误选项标志，关键是哪一种表达方式最清楚，无歧异。

两个分词都是修饰 A STAR.

我觉的把重心改变是语法中最致命的错误, 属于CORRECTIVE. 所以我还是坚持B, 希望和各位探讨.
