好吧。我承认“栗子”有缺陷，因为栗子题省略了主谓。此外，如果NN觉得我漏掉了哪个细节，请指出！！谢谢！

就是想问：BUT可不可以省略主语？或者还可以省略主谓？

再来一题：

B选项，排除其他问题不说。就看but这种省略是否有误？

这个问题就有点意思了，我认为but不能这样用，这里其实是状语从句的一种省略形式（可能有别的叫法），也就是可以还原成状语从句，一般这样用的常见的有 if when while .though. 等等，但是这里边不包括but.
据此我说第一题和你用于佐证你观点的例子不同，那是一个（转折句）共用一个主语，两个句子在句法上处于平行的地位（我很讨厌平行的说法，这里只是跟主从句对比来说）

lz给的栗子跟原题不可比较啊~栗子中but后面就算补上主语也不对，缺谓语动词，根本不成句，所以他们的问题应该不是因为but后面省略主语而导致错的
至于单独讨论but后面可不可省主语，没有定论啊，同问~~有人说but后不可省，也有的说可以省，还有说but前加“，”不可省，不加“，”可省，头都大了~

第一题中But连接的是两个句子，两个句子平级。跟第二题的本质不同，while at the same time句是一个状语从句。从属关系。我以前怎么没有发现呢？？真是拙计啊。。。

第一题，说的是两件事，必须要用but。因为，falling是伴随proved unable to handle the increase，而不是伴随became one of the largest health care的。

然后又衍生出一个问题：while不能够像but一样，也连接两个独立句子吗？while只能作为状语，表示：让步转折或同时发生。理解的是否正确？

根据上面的理解，看TN24-19（我后来贴的这道题）
用while跟用but上，没有split，都是可以的。只是，while有状语从句省略的形式。

那么，BUT还是不可以省略主语、主谓的是吧？第一题...答案...有问题！

一开始找“栗子”的时候，就犹豫了一下要不要用这个“栗子”。

漏洞果然被细心的各位G友们发现了... > <

后来贴的这题应该跟“栗子”是一回事。应该不能省略谓语，是这样吧？
