Due to means"caused by". It shoud only be used if it can be substitued with "caused by".
It doed not mean the same thing as "because of".
Incorrect: The game was postponed due to rain.
Correct: The game was postponed because of rain.
Correct: The game's postponement was due to rain.
The game was postponed caused by rain.
The game was postponed caused by rain.这句话错的地方在于:caused的逻辑主语是game,那么还原就是the game was cased by rain 这个太离谱了!
很明显是the postponement was cased by rain.
