首先个人感觉和经验看，凡是碰到这样的选项，先考虑带each的。

另外单从意思上讲，each a roof是原句中的，用with roofs代替的话，意思有可能改变了，

each a roof 我理解在这里是独立主格，实际上是shades，each (has) a roof of poles, 意思是每个shade有一个用几个杆子支撑起来的roof和用做成长方形的柱子支撑的arrowweed

如果用with roofs的话，就农不清一个shade有几个roof了，有可能是一个，有可能是多个roofs。

这道题，逵逵一看就直趋答案，因为有两个技巧点。

1. 句首all，句中each 排除C，D，E

2. being 画线必错排除B

"To be" in choice D appears to be so bizarre. Choice D would be better if "to be"

each a 的用法很少见, 请nn指教，each a student of Professor Liu.....

这里each和后面的部分是“代词+名词”的独立主格结构。

至于D选项中的“to be”，我觉得是罗嗦，应该省略，就如同that be/which be要省略一样道理。

我在另外的地方看到讨论这个题目的.."supported by....."是修饰 roof 的。E中“that are..." 会造成歧义，让人觉得它修饰arrowweed."

这句话到底是什么意思啊.supported by 到底修饰谁, arrowweed,还是dewellings????

这句话时说，为了遮阳，M住在宽敞平定的屋，这些屋被认为是shades（阴凉屋？）,屋子的房顶中的pole和一种木头是用三角结构支撑的。

我觉得，each.....是同位语，support 修饰roof。
