比较结构中的省略，书上说主语和谓语完全相同，比较句里的可以省略，那么如果时态不同呢？
比如：He is much taller than last year. 对不对？

同样，书上说从句联系动词be和主句联系动词be相同，可以省略，如果时态不同呢？可不可以省略?

没找到例句，请高手指教~

比較要同類基本上"He is much taller than last year." 這個句子是錯的, 身高怎麼跟去年比呢？應改為：He is much taller this year than last year. 比較的省略只能出現在同一個的受詞或主語或謂語, 不同的部分要全部補出.即使是介詞.

还找到一题A large rise in the number of housing starts in the coming year should boost new construction dollars by several billion dollars, making the construction industry’s economic health much more robust than it was five years ago.这里为什么it不省略呢？求教。

=====> construction ....是現在式, five years ago是過去式, 時態不同不能省略動詞
