正确的是 Inuits of the Bering Sea were  isolated from

OG的解释只说不加were有歧义，我看懂了。但是不确定加了were后到底表现了哪个意思？

是than Aleuts or Inuits of the North Pacific and northern Alaska  were  （isolated from
contact with Europeans ）的省略和were的倒装吗？
