我要向各位NN请教的是为什么E不对, 是代词指代的问题吗? 如果是的话为什么IT不可以指代 STAR?

我觉得E不对, 应该是代词指代的问题,，指代歧义的问题不是说IT不可以指代 STAR，  而是它也可以指代    mass 或stage，它前面有太多的单数名词。不是说我们觉得它应该指代什么，而是它有可能指代这，也可以指代那。

首先感谢zhaoyak7解答, 这样代词指代的问题我个人感觉如果不是指代对象错误或者没有指代对象的话比较难就根据这样的原因排除选项, 代词指代真的是GMAT SC里面很难的一个问题.

我这里的问题是 是不是it 一般都指代前面的中心词,也就是mass 但是不是指代它的 logic reference: star  请大家讨论

there are two "it"s in this sentence, and they point to two different things, hence, it is a bad sentence.
