A的问题第一个看到的是WOULD的时态问题，而且investigate的不是changes而是effects...

E的问题也不在于that从句啊，没有定语从句……

on worker's performance不会有歧义啊，前面是一个定从修饰effects....(effects...on....)，泥觉得歧义是什么？

至于后面一道题：

A。意思有变化，主要变成了强调1986年减缓的通货膨胀。。。

B 正确答案，是为了说明1986是减缓的第五年

介词短语在那应该也可以做状语吧

这个介词短语跟在那个定从的后面
