Why A  is not correct ?

Because in OG 11- 89

The answer is D

The explanation in OG is that the correct pronoun is whom

 because an objective case pronoun must be used following the preposition of .

A的错误:　1)用whom指代language 2) A of B的形式不对，of B是介词词组做定语，不是状语，所以不能用 of B A的结构，2) have official recognition,不简洁。

而且 which也可以有宾格形式啊，你为什么觉得矛盾呢？
