I take B and E out first, because >because of +diminising
then I am confused about A and D
Why "respiratory system’s ability" is right? Why "the ability of respiratory system?

但是这题的问题不在这上面，而是ability to do sth, Vs. capacity of doing sth. 所以CD错

查了外研社的同义词词典，里面的解释special 和especial 区别不大，只不过根据句子的音韵决定用哪个。这道题的问题在于capability of doing

应该是capability of doing

capacity 可以+ to do

Eg. Her capacity to remember facts is remakable.(longman)
