以下两题是和平行有关的,请教NN, 怎么样的结构算是平行?

Answer: A. The adjective visible is a complement and is parallel to the past participle sighted?

我看了一下OG上的解释，第8题并没有提到平行结构，只是动词形式的问题。第14题的平行结构是：verb+complement+location,这题是关于能看见和看不见的对比，对比的俩个部分结构要平行。

我们说的平行，不是指时态平行，而是结构平行
看见AGO 要用过去时态，看见EVER SINCE 要用完成时

第14题，ARE VISIBLE 有被看见的意思，所以和ARE SIGHTED 平行

一般来讲是要一致的，但是分句中有专门的时间状语的除外

第8题我是这么做的。第8题要说的是宇宙大爆炸和继续expanding的两个动作。而大爆炸是一瞬间的事，且发生在过去，所以用一般现在时，expanding从过去到现在一直在持续这个动作，所以用现在完成进行时。
第14题所指的平行时指sunspots出现的两个地点之间的平行。其实这里有一个小平行，即太阳表面发现黑斑和未发现黑斑的地方，不是很明显，但是根据逻辑意思可以看出来。
