白勇认为是B，说C不对的原因是 and边接once 从句和名词短语its superiority两者形式不对称

我觉得他的说法有问题，原因：

1.C答案也是一个从句,动词是proved

2.根据be动词省略规则，如果两个be动词都是助动词，后面一个可以省略，所以实际上是：once xxx was demonstrated and xxx was proved, much of xxx.

3.b改用过去完成时态，在once这条件句中好像没这种玩法吧，所以B是错的。

不过longman上只有

superiority over和superiority of的用法

2）be动词只在接表语的情况下省略吧？

3）once从句不能够有完成时的依据是什么？
