1)The phrase "as with" means "as is the case with" and is use to make comparisons and indicate that two nouns.
In this sentence, we want to compare Thai village crafts with the village crafts of other cultures. (A) is incorrect because the use of "as with" makes the comparison directly between Thai village crafts and other cultures (not the village crafts of those cultures).“
3) “as with" can only be used to make a comparison when there is a "with" earlier in the sentence

as with的用法：as with后面不能接名词，要用As with必须有一个条件，就是句中要有一个句子与其平行。比如 With......As with.....才可以用As with. 否则只可以用 As is the case with....... As is the case with就没有什么限制了。
