All applicants whose native language is not English or who have not received a university degree in an English–speaking country must take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) in addition to the GMAT.
I dislike these convolved sentences also, that is why I like to make phone call directly... :-) Even the first week I came to USA, I dare to call and ask. If they cannot explain clearly, I will just do again... :-) You know what, my listening and spoken English improved sharply... :-) It is a good way to practice English... Of course, sometimes there are people not patient enough, but just do not be too shy... Ask another one... :-)
