请问各位大虾，我的awa只有4.5, 55%，虽然gmat 730, 97%, 需要重考吗？十分感谢。

No need to re-take the GMAT. Your score is good enough for any top-10 schools. AdCom doesn't care about AWA, your essay will show your writing skill in a much deeper and broader way.

I have the same GMAT score as you, 730+4.5AWA, and I am in at Darden and Cornell; actually my background is so so, just engineering experience; so if you have a strong business background, 730 GMAT can let you go anywhere.....BTW, after I did my interview with Cornell, one Adcom staff called me, showing some concerns about my writing skills and asking if I plan to take any writing course before MBA, I said I feel comfortable in writing in my daily job and thus I have no plan to take any wriitng course, then finally they still get me in.....It is the only time I was questioned about my writing skills due to a 4.5 AWA....so do not worry it too much, essays and interviews are more important.
