Georgetown vs. UVA ？？？？

拿到了Georgetown 和 Darden 的offer, 不知道选哪个，请xdjm 们给点意见。

这还用选吗??

Darden

Darden is better in overall ranking, but it all depends on what you want to do postMBA. If you like to focus on Finance, General Management, or Management consulting, definitely  choose Darden; but if you have public (government) service background and want to explore opportunities in public sector or development banking, Georgetown is a better choice: every year world bank and IFC recruit MBAs for both internship and full time jobs in Georgetown but not in Darden.

It also depends on what life style you like during MBA study: UVA is a very tough school (maybe the toughest B-school in the US) with its pure case study; and located in a small college town two hours south of DC, Darden is not a fun place you would expect from those city schools, like Georgetown, which locates in DC. However, if you like the country style and view, you would love Darden and enjoy driving along the beautiful skyline. Good luck!

where do you live in D.C.? I kind of have a plan for a new  place to rent.

Darden ? I don't think it beats our school much in terms of getting in sell-side firms on Wall Street
