如何回答Tell me about yourself, 各位NN出出主意吧

基本上所有的interview都要问到这个问题．这个问题非常重要，你的回答会基本上把你下面的interview定调．这个问题又非常难以准备和回答，因为没有固定的模式．马上就要interview了，跪请过来的NN指点迷经！

如果是我我會直接自我介紹耶

就是講講工作的經歷

不過基本上面試過幾次

都沒有人這樣問過

都是直接叫我介紹工作的成就或經歷開始

问题是是按照成长经历介绍呢(出生在那,在那上的大学,...),还是按工作经历和自己的特点介绍呢?( I am a consultant.... working in x company. I have done x project saving $yM dollars. My strengthes are ...). 如果是按工作经历,那"tell me about yourself"是不是可以理解为"let's go through your resume".

Eventually this question will lead to the ultimate question "why MBA and why this school", therefore, you should not talk about anything/everythig but set a theme of yourself and make the story surrounding this theme, which should be easily linked to your career goal and the answer to Why MBA.

Do I need to mention (but not to elaborate) "Why MBA" when answering "tell me about yourself"? For example, "I have achieved X and Y. The reasons why I want to pursue MBA are A and B". Would that make me look too chatty? Should I wait until interviewer ask "Then why do you want a MBA?"

我觉得这个问题千万回答的不要长

就说一下自己从哪里来的，有什么特点（academic background, special work experience），现在来申请***program，就可以了

我的建议－仔细总结一下自己的特点。不要从小学到初中工作介绍个一溜遍。尽量简洁－ 3至5分钟即可。

比如说，你可以说： I am one of the most successful marketer in my same age, I did blua blua. And I am a very kind person - I denoted xxx $ to help poor people. etc.
