You are definitely reading too much into this, and your reference to "FIFO" is funny!  For now, you just have to sit tight and wait.  There is definitely a possibility that you will still be invited to interview as we are literally in the midst of reading the first round of applications.  Unfortunately, you just have to hold tight until the 15th and wish for the best.  I hope this helps...
