As I heard from Chicago local people, it is no longer true in UChicago... :-(

However, Kellogg still has possibility, please check with school.

Not really. The US school is very rigid in the policy. Although it is
not hard to transfer from one major to another, the PT-MBA to FT-MBA
transition is not allowed in some school. If the policy does not allow,
you cannot do it. At least for UChicago, you cannot, although it was
possible in the past.... :-(

Not in NYU. The ft and pt programs even shares different admissions and career offices. PT studenst are not even allowed to use ft's resources.
