感觉 watching... and facing 应该做一个状语。有些糊涂了

感觉从逻辑意思看的话，2种都可以。

但从句子结构上，我感觉应该是living...watching...facing...三者并列。因为如果是watching...and ...facing...并列做living的伴随状语的话，facing前不该有逗号。我觉得要做伴随状语的话，应该是was living....., watching....and facing.......而was living...., watching....., and facing.....则应看成是三者并列。

three years earlier是指1922年的三年前，所以应该用过去完成时吧~
