Why? I don't think it is a good idea to exclude choices only according to that. Often, you had better not judge most of sentences according to some seeming axioms, but depict the structure of the sentence and grasp the meaning of the sentence. To judge a sentence with that is not a good methom, and sometimes to do so is dangerous. Only my own opinion, as reference.
